TVS is all set to enter the adventure motorcycle space with a bang! The much-anticipated TVS RTX 300 is expected to launch within the next couple of months and promises to be a strong new contender in the entry-level ADV tourer segment. This will be the first motorcycle to debut TVS’ all-new 300cc RT-XD4 engine, and spy shots, patent filings, and teasers have already revealed a lot about this upcoming machine.

Powerful New 300cc RT-XD4 Engine

At the heart of the RTX 300 lies the new RT-XD4 engine. This 299cc powerplant is a combination of liquid-cooling for the cylinder head and air/oil-cooling for the crankcase – ensuring both performance and durability. It produces 35 hp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox for smooth touring performance. This puts the RTX comfortably between rivals like the KTM 250 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
Touring Focus, Not Hardcore Off-Roading
While it carries the ADV tag, the TVS RTX 300 is clearly built with a touring-first approach. Spy images confirm a road-biased alloy wheel setup (19-inch front and 17-inch rear), which should offer excellent highway stability and comfort on long rides. The suspension comprises USD forks up front and a rear monoshock, with a trellis frame and bolt-on subframe for a balanced chassis design.
Interestingly, the tail-light section and overall design language take cues from European adventure bikes like the Triumph Tiger 900, adding a premium touch to the look.

TVS isn’t holding back on tech. Expect the RTX 300 to offer:
- A full TFT digital display
- Ride-by-wire throttle, enabling
- Multiple rider modes
- Traction control
- A quickshifter
This level of equipment is rare at this price point and should give it a clear edge in the segment.
TVS RTX 300 Expected Rivals & Price Range

Positioned smartly between the KTM 250 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the TVS RTX 300 is expected to offer premium features at a more accessible price tag. The motorcycle will cater to riders who want long-distance capabilities without the bulk or extreme off-road bias of higher displacement ADVs.
TVS RTX 300 Launch Timeline
The launch is expected within the next one or two months, with early dealer shipments possibly beginning by late Q3 2025. Given the patent leaks, spied test units, and recent buzz, it’s clear that TVS is in the final stretch of rolling this bike out officially.
