Hero Duet EV Design and styling
The Hero Duet EV follows a clean, modern scooter design, suitable for both young professionals and family riders. It features sleek body lines, LED headlamps, and attractive dual-tone paint options, including Blue, Red, Silver, Black, and White. The scooter’s upright stance and well-padded seat are designed to offer comfort in daily city commutes, while practical touches like a spacious under-seat storage area add to its usability.
Features and technology

Hero has equipped the Duet EV with a host of convenience and safety features. Standard equipment includes a fully digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, LED lighting, and reverse assist mode. Higher variants add mobile app connectivity, allowing riders to track and monitor the scooter remotely. Battery, motor, and range
Powering the Duet EV is a 3.5kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a 3.0kW motor, producing 75Nm of torque. Hero claims a range of 120–130km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commutes without frequent charging. Charging time is around 4–5 hours using a standard charger, which means it can be fully charged overnight.
Hero Duet EV Price and EMI options

The Hero Duet EV is priced from ₹72,000 for the base variant, with the top model priced at ₹84,999 (ex-showroom). Buyers can opt for EMI plans starting from ₹2,199 per month. Hero is also offering up to ₹4,000 exchange bonus for old scooters, along with government subsidies under the FAME II scheme in select states, which further reduces the on-road price.
Market positioning
In terms of rivals, the Hero Duet EV competes with the Ola S1, TVS iQube, and Bajaj Chetak. While competitors offer similar performance, the Duet EV’s lower price, reliable servicing network, and practical features give it an edge for budget-conscious buyers.
Bookings for the Duet EV have already begun at ₹999 (refundable), with deliveries expected in 25 major cities by the end of April 2025.
