Kawasaki KLX 230 Engine and Performance

Power comes from the same 233 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 18.1 bhp and 18.3 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, offering a balanced mix of off-road capability and everyday usability.

The Kawasaki KLX 230 runs on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combination, both shod with knobby tyres for maximum off-road traction. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a linked monoshock at the rear, while braking is taken care of by disc brakes on both ends.

Market Position and Rivals

With this price revision, the KLX 230 becomes the second most affordable Kawasaki in India, sitting just above the W175. It will directly take on rivals like the Hero Xpulse 210, offering riders a lightweight, versatile, and now much more affordable off-road motorcycle.
