Enhanced Power Assist for Better Performance
The most notable upgrade for 2025 is Yamaha’s new ‘Enhanced Power Assist’ system. Designed to improve acceleration from a standstill, on inclines, or when carrying a pillion, this system works with a high-performance battery and Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology. It offers a silent start function and integrates with the Stop & Start system to improve fuel efficiency and ride refinement. While there’s no increase in peak power, the brand claims riders will notice a more responsive feel in everyday conditions.
TFT Display for Fascino S

The top-spec Fascino S variant now gets a new colour TFT instrument cluster. Paired with Yamaha’s Y-Connect smartphone app, it offers turn-by-turn navigation powered by Google Maps. The system shows real-time directions, intersection alerts, and road names directly on the display — a useful addition for urban riders.

The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid now has a Matte Grey Metallic finish, and the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid disc variant gets a Silver White Cocktail shade.
Pricing and Variants

The updated range starts with the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid at ₹79,340, while the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid starts at ₹80,750. The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid is priced at ₹92,970, and the Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid at ₹95,850. The range-topping Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid with TFT display and navigation is priced at ₹1.02 lakh — around ₹6,000 more than the standard Fascino S.
Verdict
With improved performance, smarter technology, and stylish new colour choices, Yamaha’s updated 125cc hybrid scooters are set to appeal to both style-conscious and practical buyers. The combination of fuel efficiency, hybrid assistance, and modern features keeps the Ray ZR and Fascino competitive in India’s growing scooter segment.
