The updated Mahindra XUV700 will retain its familiar bold stance but with some noticeable cosmetic changes. A revised front grille with vertical slats, new LED headlamps, and redesigned daytime running lights will freshen up the look. At the rear, updated tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar and a tweaked bumper will give it a more modern appeal.
Inside, the XUV700 facelift is set to receive significant upgrades. A triple-screen dashboard setup will include a large infotainment system, digital driver’s display, and even a passenger-side entertainment screen. This screen could support video streaming, navigation assistance, and video calls. Other expected highlights include ventilated front and rear seats, a premium Harman audio system with Dolby Atmos, and self-parking assist.
Engines and Performance

Inside, the three-door Thar will see a big step up in features. It is likely to get a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fully digital instrument cluster, and new door-mounted window controls. Comfort features such as automatic climate control, a better sound system, and height-adjustable driver’s seat are also expected. Importantly, Mahindra could offer ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
Mahindra XUV700 and Thar Facelifts Expected Prices and Rivals
The XUV700 facelift will continue to rival the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus, with prices expected to start around ₹17 lakh (ex-showroom). The Thar facelift, competing mainly with the Force Gurkha, is likely to be priced from ₹12 lakh onwards.
