The Skoda Kushaq facelift has once again been spotted testing on Indian roads, hinting that its market debut is not too far away. Launched in 2021, the Kushaq quickly became one of Skoda’s most important products in India, and after more than four years on sale, it is now ready for a mid-life update. The prototype was seen wearing camouflage at the front and rear, suggesting updates to the grille, headlamps, and bumpers. Sequential turn indicators are also likely to be added, along with redesigned alloy wheels. While the side profile remains unchanged, the fresh details should give the SUV a sharper and more modern look without moving away from its familiar styling.

Inside the cabin, Skoda is expected to focus on making the Kushaq feel more premium. Higher-quality trims and materials could be introduced, along with a redesigned dashboard and centre console. On the technology front, the SUV will likely gain a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an all-digital instrument cluster, and connected car features.
In terms of equipment, buyers can expect Level 2 ADAS functions, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, automatic climate control, and six airbags as standard. Mechanically, the Skoda Kushaq facelift 2025 will retain its proven turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder unit makes 115PS and 178Nm, while the more powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder produces 150PS and 250Nm. Gearbox options will include a six-speed manual, a six-speed torque converter automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). With these engines carried over, the Kushaq should continue to deliver a balance of performance and efficiency.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Price and Rivals
Pricing for the facelifted Kushaq is expected to see a slight increase over the current model, which is priced between ₹11.99 lakh and ₹19.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, VW Taigun, and Honda Elevate in the midsize SUV category.
