It’s getting visual updates like new split headlamps, refreshed alloy wheels, and a front profile inspired by the Creta. 2. Tata Sierra – Launch by End of 2025
Tata Motors will reintroduce the Sierra, but this time with modern flair. Expected by year-end, the new Sierra will be offered in both ICE and electric versions. The petrol model may feature a 1.5-litre NA engine in base variants and a turbocharged unit for the higher trims. Design-wise, it will retain a boxy silhouette with clean lines, and the cabin is expected to borrow premium elements from the Harrier and Curvv.

3. Maruti Escudo – Launching September 2025
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to unveil the Escudo, a new 5-seater SUV built on the same platform as the Grand Vitara. While the original plan was to make it a 7-seater, the company has now opted for a more compact design to go up against rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. It’s expected to offer both petrol and hybrid engine options. With slightly larger dimensions than the Grand Vitara, the Escudo will likely be priced between ₹10 to ₹18 lakh and will be sold through Maruti’s Arena outlets.
