Engine and Performance

The Citroën C3X Coupe SUV will be powered by the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine offered in the C3 Aircross, paired with manual and automatic transmission options. The engine is expected to deliver similar performance, with an output around 110 hp, making it suitable for both city driving and long-distance cruising.

While official figures are yet to be confirmed, the C3 Aircross’s turbo-petrol setup returns around 18–19 km/l in real-world conditions. Given the shared platform, the Citroën C3X is likely to offer similar mileage, making it competitive in its segment.

Expected Price and Launch

Thanks to Citroën’s high localisation strategy, the Citroën C3X Coupe SUV is expected to be priced competitively, possibly starting from around ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch is expected in the coming months, and with its coupe-SUV styling, it will target buyers looking for something different from traditional midsize sedans and SUVs.

Citroën’s expansion strategy under its “Citroën 2.0 – Shift Into the New” plan includes growing its sales and service network to 150 outlets by the end of 2025, with a strong focus on Tier II, III, and IV cities. The Citroën C3X Coupe SUV will play an important role in this push, combining French design flair with practicality and value.
