This upcoming EV will sit below the Windsor in the brand’s lineup and will likely compete with models like the Tata Tiago.ev and Citroen eC3. While specific design details haven’t been revealed yet, the car is expected to offer a modern, compact design suited for city use. It will likely focus on practicality and efficiency, with a minimalist yet functional interior.

JSW has partnered with a Chinese OEM for EV technology. Although the name hasn’t been disclosed, the company confirmed that the partnership is purely a licensing deal—without equity involvement. JSW plans to fully localise production to keep costs down and improve supply chain efficiency. The car will be manufactured at a new facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

While drivetrain and range figures remain under wraps, we can expect a real-world range of over 300 km, considering JSW’s current Windsor EV delivers up to 400 km on a 53kWh battery. The upcoming model will be ideal for city commutes and short weekend drives.

In addition to this car, JSW is also planning a larger SUV with multiple powertrain options—EV, hybrid, and ICE. With this multi-pronged strategy, the company aims to expand its presence in India’s growing EV space.
