Mahindra has taken a big step in the compact SUV segment by introducing Dolby Atmos in the Mahindra XUV 3XO. Priced under ₹12 lakh, the XUV 3XO REVX A becomes the world’s first SUV in this range to feature Dolby Atmos, bringing cinema-like audio quality to everyday driving.

What’s New with Dolby Atmos?
Dolby Atmos is a premium sound technology initially designed for cinemas. It delivers a 3D-like audio experience, making music more immersive. This feature was earlier available in Mahindra’s premium electric SUVs like BE 6 and XEV 9e, followed by the Thar ROXX. Now, it is coming to an affordable model for the first time.
The XUV 3XO Dolby Atmos feature will be available from mid-September 2025 in four variants: REVX A, AX5L, AX7, and AX7L. The top-spec AX7L variant will also get an extra subwoofer for deeper bass. The infotainment system supports Gaana streaming, giving easy access to Dolby Atmos Music.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Design and Features

The Mahindra XUV 3XO is a bold and modern SUV with a sharp front grille, stylish LED DRLs, and sporty alloy wheels. Inside, it offers a dual-tone dashboard, a large touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charger, and premium seat upholstery. Key highlights include:

- Cruise control
- Passive keyless entry and push-button start

Engine Options and Mileage
The XUV 3XO is available with multiple engine options:
- 1.2-litre turbo-petrol with manual and AMT options
- 1.5-litre diesel engine tuned for efficiency
Mileage figures stand at around 18-20 km/l for petrol and 20-22 km/l for diesel, depending on the variant.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Price and Availability

The XUV 3XO REVX series was launched in July 2025, starting at ₹8.94 lakh (ex-showroom). With Dolby Atmos added, the top variants still remain under ₹12 lakh, making it an attractive choice for tech-savvy buyers.
What’s Next?
Mahindra is also working on the XUV 3XO EV, expected to debut soon with a 35 kWh battery and a range of 350+ km. It will compete with the Tata Nexon EV in the electric SUV space.
