MG Motor India is all set to launch its all-new luxury electric MPV, the MG M9, in India tomorrow. The EV will be sold through MG’s premium MG Select retail network and is positioned as a top-tier MPV focused on comfort, space, and futuristic features. Pre-bookings are already underway for ₹51,000 both online and at dealerships.

Massive Dimensions With Ultra-Premium Cabin
The MG M9 is not your average family van. Measuring a whopping 5,270mm in length and riding on a 3,200mm wheelbase, it’s one of the largest MPVs ever to launch in India. It offers massive cabin room with a 6-seater layout, luxurious captain seats in the second row, and ample space to stretch out — perfect for chauffeur-driven owners.
The M9 will be available in three exterior shades: Cardiff Black, Luminous White, and Mystic Grey. Inside, customers can choose between Pure Black or Cognac Brown upholstery finishes.

The M9 is powered by a 90 kWh battery pack that delivers 245 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. With its floor-mounted battery layout, expect a low center of gravity and better ride comfort. MG hasn’t revealed the official range yet, but a full range test video is expected soon.
Its pricing is expected to be upwards of ₹90 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in the same premium space as the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. However, since it’s fully electric, the M9 will essentially create a new niche in India’s MPV space with no direct EV rival at this scale.
