Kia is gearing up to launch the Next-gen Kia Seltos SUV, and reports suggest that it could make its India debut as early as November 2025. While the global reveal is expected in the first half of 2026, the Indian market may see the new model before the end of this year. Kia has not officially confirmed the dates yet, but the second-gen Seltos is in its final stages of testing and is expected to hit showrooms in early 2026.

The Next-gen Kia Seltos brings a fresh design language with a boxier, more upright profile. The SUV features a two-part front grille separated by a broad bar, giving it an aggressive stance. Spy shots reveal uniquely shaped square headlamps with orange DRLs for the American-spec model, although India may not get connected LED DRLs. At the rear, the Seltos sports redesigned tail-lamps with LED inserts, a new tailgate housing a 360-degree camera, and a lower bumper with strong cladding. The overall look is modern, yet practical, with straight lines and a flatter roof enhancing the SUV’s presence on the road.

Next-gen Kia Seltos Interior and Features
Inside, the Kia Seltos continues to offer premium comfort. It is expected to feature a new dashboard with soft-touch leatherette finishes and a large 30-inch Trinity Display, which includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, and a 5-inch climate control unit. Other highlights likely include leatherette seats, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered driver and co-driver seats, dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera system.
Next-gen Kia Seltos Engine Options and Mileage
The new-gen Seltos will retain existing engines, including a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L diesel. A hybrid variant is expected to join the lineup later. While the global model may offer a 1.6L GDR hybrid with e-AWD, the India-spec version is likely to feature a 1.5L NA petrol engine combined with hybrid technology. Mileage figures are yet to be confirmed, but the engines are expected to deliver a balance of performance and efficiency suitable for urban and highway driving.

The Next-gen Kia Seltos is expected to be priced competitively, slightly above the current model, reflecting the upgraded features and design improvements. Exact pricing will be announced closer to the India launch.
