Royal Enfield’s upcoming flagship, the Himalayan 750 Touring Variant, has once again been spotted on test, this time revealing more details about what could be a touring-focused version of the adventure motorcycle. The new model is expected to make its global debut at the EICMA 2025 motorcycle show, with an India launch likely to follow soon after.

Himalayan 750 Touring Variant Design and Styling
The latest spy shots show the Himalayan 750 in near-production form. Unlike the earlier prototypes that featured spoke wheels, this test mule was fitted with alloy wheels – a clear hint at a road-oriented touring variant. The bike was also seen with road-biased tubeless tyres, split seats, a luggage rack at the rear, and a sizeable ADV-style fairing.
Other details include a circular TFT instrument cluster, similar to the one on other modern Royal Enfield models, a muscular fuel tank, and a single upswept exhaust. The overall design retains the rugged Himalayan DNA but with clear upgrades aimed at long-distance comfort.
Himalayan 750 Touring Variant Features and Equipment

The Himalayan 750 Touring Variant test unit was equipped with USD front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension, suggesting better handling and stability. The alloy wheel setup consisted of a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, which should provide a good balance between highway touring and occasional off-road use.
Royal Enfield could offer two distinct variants – a hardcore off-road version with spoke wheels and a road-focused touring model with alloys. Additionally, the alloy wheels could also be offered as official accessories.

Engine and Performance
At the heart of the new Himalayan will be a 750cc parallel-twin engine, likely derived from the brand’s existing 648cc platform. Reports suggest this new motor will produce over 50 bhp and around 60 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. While official mileage figures are not available, the setup should balance performance with efficiency, making it suitable for long-distance travel.

Himalayan 750 Touring Variant Price and Launch
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Touring Variant is expected to be priced around ₹4–4.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, positioning it above the current Himalayan 450. With its mix of touring comfort, premium hardware, and a more powerful engine, the Himalayan 750 will directly rival the likes of the KTM 790 Adventure and other middleweight ADVs.
With testing in full swing and prototypes looking production-ready, the global debut at EICMA 2025 seems almost certain, followed by a launch in early 2026.
