TVS Motor Company has officially entered the commercial electric vehicle space with the launch of the TVS King Kargo HD EV in India. Priced at ₹3.85 lakh (ex-showroom), this new electric three-wheeler is designed for urban and semi-urban logistics, catering to last-mile delivery businesses.

TVS King Kargo HD EV Design and Build
The TVS King Kargo HD EV retains the practical layout of its ICE counterpart but adds a modern touch. It comes with a 6.6 ft load deck supported by a robust leaf spring suspension, ensuring it can handle heavy loads with ease. The vehicle has the lowest loading height of 703 mm, making loading and unloading more convenient, while the ground clearance of 235 mm ensures it can tackle rough patches and speed breakers.
For better usability in city conditions, the EV features the lowest turning radius of 3,420 mm, which makes maneuvering in tight spaces easier. It also boasts a water wading capacity of 500 mm, which will help in monsoon conditions.
Performance and Specifications
The TVS King Kargo HD EV is engineered for efficiency and durability. It offers a top speed of 60 kmph, ideal for city logistics. TVS claims a charging time of 3 hours and 10 minutes, ensuring quick turnaround for operators. Safety is enhanced with a bigger drum brake (200 mm) providing the shortest braking distance in its segment.

The electric cargo three-wheeler comes packed with segment-first features like LED headlamps and tail lamps, a spacious cabin with rolling windows, and stylish door trims for better ventilation. A special Power Gear Mode helps deliver extra torque under load, improving performance during heavy-duty operations.
Adding to its tech appeal, the King Kargo HD EV gets TVS SmartXonnect with 26 smart features, along with TVS Connect Fleet – India’s first telematics solution for three and two-wheelers. This platform offers 31 advanced fleet management features, giving operators complete visibility and control over their vehicles.

The TVS King Kargo HD EV is priced at ₹3.85 lakh (ex-showroom). In the first phase, it will be available in major markets such as Delhi, NCR, Rajasthan, and Bengaluru. TVS is also offering a 6-year or 1.5 lakh km warranty, which should boost buyer confidence.
