VinFast, the Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer, is making serious moves as it prepares for its entry into the Indian EV market. The company has announced that its Indian arm, VinFast Auto India, has partnered with 13 dealership groups to open 32 dealerships across 27 cities in India. These outlets are expected to be operational ahead of the VF 6 and VF 7 EVs, which are set to open for pre-bookings on July 15, 2025.

According to the company, this move is part of a larger plan to establish 35 dealerships across India by the end of 2025, covering major metro and high-growth Tier 2 cities. The new outlets will follow the 3S model—Sales, Service, and Spares—ensuring a complete ownership experience for customers.
The first wave of dealerships will come up in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneswar, Thiruvananthapuram, Chandigarh, and Lucknow. These cities have been strategically selected due to their growing EV infrastructure and rising consumer demand.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated that these partnerships reinforce the company’s commitment to offering an exceptional EV ownership experience in India. “We are focused on ensuring that customers across key cities have seamless access to VinFast’s world-class products and support infrastructure,” he said.
With its Indian manufacturing plant already under development in Tamil Nadu, and the dealership network coming into shape, VinFast is looking to quickly establish a strong presence in the country’s fast-growing electric mobility space.
