VinFast India has opened its biggest showroom in the country, located in Teynampet, Chennai. This marks the brand’s first dealership in Tamil Nadu and is part of its plan to strengthen its electric vehicle presence in India. The facility spans 4,700 sq. ft. and is operated in partnership with Maansarovar Motors.

VinFast India Expansion
The Vietnamese EV maker plans to open 35 dealerships across 27 cities by the end of 2025. This new showroom is designed to offer a complete brand experience, showcasing VinFast’s premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7. Customers will be able to experience the vehicles, learn about charging solutions, and get assistance with bookings and after-sales services.
VinFast VF 6 and VF 7 – Design and Features

The VF 6 and VF 7 are modern electric SUVs with bold, futuristic designs. The VF 6 is a compact SUV with sleek LED headlamps, sharp character lines, and a sporty stance, making it ideal for urban buyers. The VF 7, on the other hand, is a mid-size SUV with a more aggressive front fascia, stylish alloy wheels, and a coupe-like roofline for a dynamic look.
Inside, both models feature large infotainment screens, connected car technology, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Premium upholstery, a minimalist dashboard, and a spacious cabin make them appealing for tech-savvy customers.

Battery, Range, and Performance

The VF 6 is expected to come with a battery pack offering a range of up to 399 km, while the VF 7 could deliver around 450 km on a full charge, based on standard driving conditions. Both SUVs will support fast charging, enabling a quick top-up for convenient long-distance travel. Performance figures are expected to cater to both city and highway driving needs.
Pricing and Bookings
VinFast India started accepting bookings for the VF 6 and VF 7 on July 15, 2025. Interested buyers can reserve their vehicle online or at showrooms for a fully refundable amount of ₹21,000. The company has not officially announced prices yet, but they are expected to be competitive in the premium EV segment to attract early adopters.
VinFast India is also investing in partnerships for charging infrastructure, after-sales services, and battery recycling, making India a key market in its global growth strategy.
