KTM has updated its popular naked street bike, the 390 Duke, with a fresh design, a more powerful engine, and several new features. Priced at Rs 3.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the KTM 390 Duke continues to be one of the most performance-focused motorcycles in its segment.

KTM 390 Duke Design and styling

The new KTM 390 Duke stays true to the brand’s aggressive streetfighter DNA. The bike features sharp body lines, a muscular fuel tank, split seats, and the signature orange frame that highlights its sporty character. LED headlights with integrated DRLs enhance visibility while giving the motorcycle a premium look. At 168.3 kg of kerb weight, the 390 Duke remains agile and easy to handle in city traffic as well as on highways.

The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox, assisted by a bi-directional Quickshifter+ and ride-by-wire throttle. The performance figures translate to a top speed of 167 km/h, making it one of the fastest motorcycles in the 400cc segment.

KTM has equipped the bike with a Supermoto ABS mode, giving riders greater control during spirited riding. The braking system consists of a 320 mm front disc with a four-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear disc, ensuring strong stopping power.

Suspension duties are handled by WP APEX USD front forks with 5-step compression and rebound adjustment, along with a 10-step preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. This setup makes the 390 Duke versatile enough for daily commutes as well as weekend highway runs. A ground clearance of 183 mm further ensures it handles uneven roads with ease.

On the technology front, the 390 Duke comes with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster offering Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and call alerts.
