Lexus has updated its popular luxury SUV, the NX, for the 2025 model year in India. The refreshed 2025 Lexus NX brings a few subtle but important changes, including new colour choices, improved cabin comfort, better fuel efficiency, and compliance with E20 petrol. Prices remain unchanged, starting at Rs 68.02 lakh (ex-showroom), and bookings are already open.

2025 Lexus NX Design and New Colours
On the outside, the 2025 Lexus NX looks familiar but now comes with two fresh paint options – a new shade of red and an elegant white. These additions give buyers more variety without altering the SUV’s sleek, sharp-edged design language that has been a highlight of the NX since its launch.
2025 Lexus NX Interior Upgrades

Inside the cabin, Lexus has worked on making the NX quieter and more comfortable. The Japanese brand has used new “felt materials” at the rear for better sound insulation, reducing road noise. Air quality inside has also been improved with a new AC filter made of special, thicker fabric, designed to capture finer particles. The climate control system has been tuned to consume less energy, helping the hybrid system deliver better mileage.

Features and Safety
The feature list continues to be rich, as expected from a luxury SUV in this segment. For 2025, a new Uphill Assist Control has been added to the safety package. This system works with the hybrid powertrain to regulate speed when driving uphill, making it safer and more convenient in tricky conditions. Other standard safety equipment, including multiple airbags, ADAS features, and stability control, continues unchanged.
Powertrain and Mileage

Mechanically, the NX remains powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine paired with an eCVT automatic transmission. The combined output stands at 243hp, which gives the SUV a good balance of performance and efficiency. The key update for 2025 is improved fuel economy – Lexus now claims 20.26 kmpl, a notable jump from the earlier 16–17 kmpl range. Additionally, the SUV is now E20 fuel compliant, making it more future-ready as India transitions to ethanol-blended fuel.
2025 Lexus NX Price and Availability
Despite these updates, Lexus has kept pricing unchanged, with the NX range continuing to start at Rs 68.02 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it an attractive option for buyers looking for a stylish, efficient, and feature-rich luxury SUV in its class.
